Tapebicuá Group is a forest industry group operating in Argentina, formed through a series of industrial and forest acquisitions. The Company ensures that the region is one of the most appealing locations in the world to develop a sustainable and responsible wood product, cellulose and paper industry based on eco-friendly behavior, renewable forest growth, and industrial activities concerned with the environment.

The Company currently owns and operates two large sawmills and a plywood plant manufacturing a wide array of products including prime quality plywood and laminates. In May 2007, the company purchased 97% of the shareholding in Fábrica Nacional de Papel S.A. (Fanapel), Celulosa Argentina S.A.’s parent corporation, thus consolidating the regional industrial project development. The Group owns three cellulose and paper mills, two in Argentina (Celulosa Argentina’s Capitán Bermúdez plant and Zárate plant), and one in Uruguay (Fanapel’s Juan Lacaze plant), specialized in the manufacture of high quality cellulose and paper for printing and writing purposes. Product distribution and marketing in the southern cone is strengthened by the operation of three wholly-owned distributing companies having a long track record in the paper market, with presence in Argentina, Uruguay and Chile.

In addition to its industrial assets, the Group currently owns and operates 21,000 hectares of pine woods and eucalyptus forests in the northeast of Corrientes Province, Argentina, as well as in the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. This region is known as one of the most attractive areas in the world for sustainable forest plantations.
